By using GamepadTools (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

2. About GamepadTools

GamepadTools is a free, browser-based suite of tools for testing gaming hardware — gamepads/controllers, mice, GPUs, and monitors — along with educational guides about that hardware. No account or sign-up is required to use any tool.

3. Use of the Website

The Site is provided for personal, informational, and diagnostic use. You may use the tools and read the guides freely, including for your own troubleshooting or curiosity.

4. Permitted Use

You may use the Site to test your own hardware, read and reference our guides, and link to our pages.

5. Prohibited or Abusive Use

You agree not to:

• attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Site or its infrastructure;
• scrape the Site at scale or copy its tools/content for republication elsewhere;
• use automated systems to access the Site in a way that degrades it for other users;
• use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

6. Tool Accuracy and Limitations

Our tools are browser-based diagnostic aids, not certified or laboratory-grade test equipment. They rely on standard web browser APIs, and their readings can be affected by your browser's behavior, your operating system, your specific hardware, your connection type, background processes running on your device, device drivers, how your browser implements a given API, display synchronization, and other technical factors outside our control. Results are provided for general guidance and should not be treated as the sole basis for warranty claims, purchase decisions, or repairs. If a result is important to a warranty, repair, purchase, or other consequential decision, confirm the issue using the manufacturer's documentation or another appropriate diagnostic method. 7. Third-Party Hardware and Software

References to specific hardware brands, models, or third-party software (browsers, drivers, platforms) are for informational context only. GamepadTools is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any hardware or software manufacturer mentioned on the Site unless explicitly stated.

8. Third-Party Links

Guides and tool pages may link to external resources — browser documentation, technical specifications, or manufacturer support pages — for context. We aren't responsible for the content or practices of any third-party site we link to, and a link doesn't imply our endorsement of everything on that site.

9. Intellectual Property

The design, layout, software, and written content published on GamepadTools are owned by the site's operator or used under applicable licenses, unless otherwise stated. You may use the tools and read the guides for personal purposes and link to our pages. You may not republish, resell, or redistribute our tools or written content as your own without permission.

10. User-Submitted Information

If you contact us (for example, by email), any information you choose to share is used only to respond to you, per our Privacy Policy. We don't have a public commenting or submission system at this time.

11. Availability and Changes

We may add, change, remove, or temporarily take down tools, guides, or features at any time, without prior notice, as the Site is maintained and improved.
